About GNYPWD
Founded after the UN’s 2020 COSP on the CRPD, GNYPWD unites young leaders with disabilities from over 80 countries to build and deploy solutions worldwide.
Our Mission is to empower young persons with disabilities to create, test and scale tech solutions that unlock independent, dignified lives, turning personal insights into global impact.
Ripple Effect
GNYPWD is the engine driving an interconnected network of young disability-led innovators, making inclusive technology the standard everywhere
We want to enable persons with disabilities to lead the way. We empower the next generation of role models and watch their successes ripple outward.
Independent and Dignified Life
We decided that merely setting accessibility standards have not brought in the kind of change needed.
“But What if people with disabilities designed the solutions to make the world more accessible?”
At our core is a belief that everyone deserves the tools, training, and support that lead to an independent, dignified life.
When I wasn’t allowed to study science in school, I realized nobody understands our challenges better than us. At GNYPWD, we’re building the tools we always needed.
